LatinX Graduate Student Coalition at Cornell University

The LatinX Graduate Student Coalition (LGSC) provides a forum for its members to work together in support of each others’ academic excellence and recognition. As members of LatinX communities and other historically excluded groups in higher education, the members of LGSC work to raise awareness of the political, social and academic issues facing their communities.

We also strive to create a stronger sense of community and friendship with the larger LatinX community in Ithaca, and fellow graduate students of historically excluded communities at Cornell. This includes the Society for Asian American Graduate Affairs (SAAGA), the Black Graduate & Professional Student Association (BGPSA), the Indigenous Graduate Student Association (IGSA), the Cornell Latin America Student Society (CLASS), and the Latino Civic Association (LCA).
